I have been lucky enough to design for Elena Shaddow, who originated the role of Francesca Johnson in The Bridges of Madison County and was recently seen in The Sound of Music Live, for the last four years. An incredible talent and brilliant teacher, Elena has become such a great friend. Today, we are thrilled to have launched her brand new website, coinciding with the debut of her new show, "Always Better: The New Golden Age of Broadway" at 54 Below in September. Check out her site for more than you ever wanted to know about this gifted soprano, and make sure you book tickets to this show, as they are sure to sell out quickly!
I knew when I was launching our new site, I wanted to rebrand and wanted a logo as unique as the work we do. Having followed Olivia Cook on Twitter and Instagram for the better part of a year now, I knew how amazing her talent is. I reached out and asked if she was interested in taking on a commission. Thankfully she was, and today we got he final result. I am so stoked. I knew it would be beautiful, but this is exactly what I wanted. I am so grateful to Olivia, and can't wait to work with her again in the future!
You can find Olivia on Twitter or Instagram at @omcook, or you can visit her website to see more of her work, and to purchase prints and more.
We have had the joy of working with Judson Theatre Company as part of their rebranding effort on two shows. After designing their productions of Bell, Book and Candle starring The Facts of Life's Mindy Cohn, and Steel Magnolias we are so pleased to partner with them again on their upcoming production of the seminal classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Check out the poster we designed, to the right.
Judson Theatre Company is based in Pinehurst, NC. If you are in the area in October, you absolutely MUST check them out!
Recently, I launched the new website for Kate Baldwin, Tony® nominee for Finian's Rainbow, and recent star of Big Fish and Giant - I met her in a chance encounter at The Most Happy Fella, where she smartly shared some Birthday Cake M&M's, and less than a week later, we had started on this! She has been a doll to work with, this "dude in a dress," and I hope you guys love it as much as I loved making it.
